Focus Areas

My primary focus is helping SME businesses, non-profits and charities to get onto the first step of the technology ladder. Helping those businesses to develop better I.T. policies, better systems of work flow, data capture and data processing.

The main thrust of my work is using twenty+ years experience of working in highly effective senior management teams to drive incredible improvements in productivity, accuracy and speed of throughput in all areas of business.

Whether it’s back office, front office or out-on-the-road, solutions are developed from a working knowledge and experience in virtually all areas of business.

It’s not that I believe you need to do things my way, far from it, but what this experience provides is a solid basis for examining and challenging perceptions in order that vital systems provide the utmost effective role in your business.

Challenging, Supportive Scrutineer

If you don’t like to be challenged on your ideas then I am possibly not the developer for you. My value set includes the necessity to challenge all ideas, whether I perceive them to be good ideas or otherwise.

Why do I do this?

Well, it’s not to be awkward or territorial. Moreover, it’s to ensure that you are really getting the last few-pence worth of effectiveness and efficiency out of your forthcoming investment.

Paradigm’s exist in every single business in the world. The problem with paradigms is that they are invisible to you and your workforce, because often they are the accepted norm’s of your business, often set up to tackle a problem that existed long ago. Those problems have frequently long gone but the legacy still remains – this is work that is performed everyday which has no purpose – this is inefficiency – this is a paradigm.

Value added effort – Ideas, proposals and plans that stand up to scrutiny get implemented. Anything not adding value is killed off in favour of a change to business policy or process. All value adding processes and policies are deployed in the final solution.
